Back to the burning rice🍚, I ran🏃 from outside almost falling 🤸down from the bench am lying on and na face-me-i-slap-you I dey live🏠. Omo come see how the passage is long and the kitchen is in the backyard. When I got to the kitchen, I first off the gas cooker and opened the pot cover with my bare hands. I was shocked 😲to my bones, half of the rice have got burned.
I placed my two hands on my head🙆ha my mama go kill me today, she will think have been indoors and listening to music with my earphones 🎧as usual, even the shells of the eggs in the rice don burn. I was just shouting chineke 😱 Jesus Christ, the blood of Jesus 🙆 pacing up and down. I poured the remaining rice into another pot and quickly went to buy another egg with my savings before my mother and my younger sister 👩👦 came back. My mother is a trader and owns her shop, my dad is an electrician and my sister is still in SS2. I had an elder brother named Kunle and two siblings named Bimbo and Leke. He's the youngest. Luckily for me, I hide the burnt pot somewhere in the backyard and boiled the eggs before my family came back. I only have to cook the food, my mother dishes it. My mum observed that the food was smaller, and called me "Mide, why is this rice🍚 small like this, kilo se le(what happened 🤷). Am such a girl that doesn't like lieing but I do lie sometimes, but I decided to tell her the truth. She was angry and threw the spoon 🥄at me. The spoon 🥄 met me in the stomach, I grunted loudly, she shouted at me and said "I know you were busy pressing your phone that you forgot you left the food on the fire🔥", I tried defending myself but how will I say that I was staring at the sky😒.
I usually believe this statement"say the truth and let the devil😈be ashamed" which have learnt from when I was still a kid. My mother dished the food but didn't even give me a spoonful, I was denied food, and went to bed with an empty stomach. All thanks to Leke, who remained small food and gave me. I think the devil 👺is now mocking me🤣 just because I said the truth. I slept off 😪😴
